Welcome to Moon, Me & Baby - I'm so happy to have you join me! Once you book onto a session you will receive an email confirmation, it may be in your spam. It is important that you let me know if you don't receive this email as it may mean your booking hasn't been successful.
You and your little one, that's it!
I supply all equipment including mats, instruments, props and oil when required, however a blanket for small babies is welcomed for extra comfort.
Due to Covid-19 all adults must have a face covering, unless exempt.
Unfortunately due to Covid-19 restrictions I am unable to accommodate additional adults or children over 5 unless arranged with myself beforehand. Should you require support from another adult, perhaps due to attending with multiple children or due to mental health, please get in touch and I will do my best to help.
Siblings under 5 are welcome FREE of charge but please do include their name when booking.
Before coming along to your session please wear comfortable clothing and bare in mind that some classes include messy play elements.
With walking children it is helpful if they can do the session with bare feet as we do lots of yoga and socks can hinder their grip on the mats.
For new babies booked onto a massage session please dress them in clothing that can be easily removed or moved aside as positive touch is an important element of my classes.
To limit the number of attendees waiting for their session to start please arrive no earlier than five minutes prior (don't worry if running late, come on in!). When entering the venue please wear a mask and sanitise hands at the stations provided too. I also ask that all shoes are removed before entering the session room, these can be brought in with you or placed in with your pram/carseat which can be left in the waiting area.
Although masks are to be worn when entering the building and session room they can be removed once at your distanced mat. You will then only need to wear your facemask when moving around the room eg; going to the bathroom or partaking in an instructed activity and when leaving your session.
All equipment will be provided by myself either by placing it on your mat prior or during your session with sanitised hands. It is important you try to discourage your equipment being shared. For your safety all equipment is cleaned prior to sessions starting along with internal touch points eg; light switches and handles.
It is important you observe your children at all times to ensure their safety. Although precautions are taken to protect you all, you must be cautious when your child is using props and/exploring the room.
The room should feel comfortable and safe, should you have any concerns please do not hesitate to say. Ventilation features as part of my Covid safety protocols but that does not mean you should feel cold.
Although I encourage responsive parenting with bottle and breastfeeding welcome, outside of a drink, food should NOT be consumed during the session as not only is it unhygienic when handling equipment and rather messy, but it can potentially be very dangerous for families with allergies.
Lastly, I would love to help facilitate friendships but please do be mindful that these are instructed sessions and talking can be very disruptive when families are trying to participate.
Once I have advised that the session has ended I would be grateful if you could gather your equipment on your mat. Please be sure to replace your mask when leaving but only replace your shoes once in the waiting area.
Often classes run with a 30 minute break in between so although I would love to encourage socialising, and I do intend to introduce this later, I currently have to ask that you leave in a timely manner, if however you wish to speak to me after your session, please do so.
If you or your child are unwell or displaying Covid-19 symptoms (cough, raised temperature or change in your sense of smell) please do NOT attend your session. I am happy to offer a voucher to the amount of your booking provided you get in touch prior to your session start time.
As a small business I am unable to offer refunds for cancellations unless it is an exceptional situation whereby a refund may be given at my discretion.
Any changes to your booking will firstly be advised via email, this includes venue changes, time changes and cancellations. Changes will also be posted to the Facebook page.
I will only send out texts in exceptional circumstances so please be sure to check your email and the social media page prior to your session.
If your session is cancelled it will be rescheduled where possible otherwise a voucher to the value of your booking will be offered.
